Energy transport in boundary driven quantum spin systems: One-way street phenomenon in models with long range interactions

We address the investigation of non trivial properties of the energy current in boundary driven XXZ quantum spin models. In specific, we focus on the occurrence of the one-way street phenomenon in asymmetrical chains, a phenomenon stronger than rectification, which establishes the existence of a unique way for the energy current in the absence of external magnetic field, that is, the magnitude and direction of the energy flow does not change as we invert the baths at the boundaries. For general target polarizations at the boundaries, we show that such a phenomenon holds in the presence of long range interactions, ingredient which increases the flow and the rectification in chains of classical oscillators, and so, of interest in the study of manipulation and control of the energy flow.     

On a certain class of locally conformal symplectic structures of the second kind

We study locally conformal symplectic (LCS) structures of the second kind on a Lie algebra. We show a method to construct new examples of Lie algebras admitting LCS structures of the second kind starting with a lower dimensional Lie algebra endowed with a LCS structure and a suitable extension. Moreover, we characterize all LCS Lie algebras obtained with our construction. Finally, we study the existence of lattices in the associated simply connected Lie groups in order to obtain compact examples of manifolds admitting this kind of structure.     

Quantizer–dequantizer operators as a tool for formulating the quantization procedure

We consider the quantization procedure and investigate the application of the quantizer–dequantizer method and star-product technique to construct associative products and the associative algebras formed by the quantizer–dequantizer operators and their symbols. The corresponding Lie algebras are also constructed. We study the case where the quantizer–dequantizer operators form a self-dual system and show that the structure constants of the Lie algebras satisfy some identity, in addition to the Jacobi identity. Using tomographic quantizer–dequantizer operators and their symbols, we construct the continuous associative algebra and the corresponding Lie algebra.     

Exactness of SWKB for shape invariant potentials

The supersymmetry-based semiclassical method (SWKB) is known to produce exact spectra for conventional shape invariant potentials. In this paper we prove that this exactness follows from their additive shape invariance.

鬼成像是一种与传统成像方式不同的通过光场涨落的高阶关联获得图像信息的新型成像方式。近年来,相比传统成像方式,鬼成像所拥有的一些优点如高灵敏度、超分辨能力、抗散射等,使其在遥感、多光谱成像、热X射线衍射成像等领域得到广泛研究。随着对鬼成像的广泛研究,数学理论和方法在其中发挥的作用愈显突出。例如,基于压缩感知理论,可以进行鬼成像系统采样方式优化、图像重构算法设计及图像重构质量分析等研究工作。本文旨在探索鬼成像中的一些有趣的数学问题,主要包括:系统预处理方法、光场优化及相位恢复问题。对这些问题的研究既可以丰富鬼成像理论,又能推动它在实际应用中的发展。
